Anticipation. Anxious. Excited. Expectation. Being pregnant is an emotional experience; a rollercoaster of ups and downs. There are unconventional cravings for sustenance, tantrums and an occasional false alarm. The body transforms, the family unit grows and the world is forever changed with each new life.

Today, the Father says, "I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don't you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land." Sometimes it's hard to make certain when a woman is pregnant with child. It can take multiple tests to confirm that reality, and sometimes the final "say-so" from a Dr.'s examination. The Eternal Physician knows you better than you know yourself, and He says, "it is already happening." You ask, "What is already happening?" He says, "Something new!"

I don't know what exactly you have been through this last year, but I do know that a way will be cleared and new life will be birthed in what was once a dry and barren land. Situations that were once dark, malnourished and without life will be transformed into testimonies of love, joy and peace. People who were diseased, depressed or chemically imbalanced will be renewed, refreshed and restored. Scripture promises that God will clear a way and recycle what was once lifeless, underappreciated and walked over.

You are about to give birth to something new in your life. Your deliverance is already happening. He is clearing the way for your blessing to flow! Believe what He has said in His Word. Receive what He is already doing. This is the birth of a new year.
